About Tachymeters

Hello.  I'm Jon Bumann, and the founder of Tachymeters.   I have nearly three decades of experience in the watch and luxury jewelry industry working for both corporate and independent jewelers.  

My love for timepieces began early in my jewelry career. What started out as enthusiasm, turned into collecting.  As my knowledge grew, so did my appetite for the unique and different.  I sought out brands that told a story or had historical importance, factories that made their own movements or complications, and practical tool-watch builders.  That "ah-ha" moment came when I went to make a purchase and I couldn't find a retailer close by.  Sometimes I couldn't even find a dealer in the United States.   That lead me to start Tachymeters.  It's our mission to highlight these lesser-known watch brands.  We're based in Madison Wisconsin and we're Authorized Dealers.  All watches are new unless otherwise specified in a listing.  No matter if you're looking for your first timepiece or just something new for your collection, consider choosing Tachymeters.
